Barrels for Haiti

Once again we are collecting items to send to The Sisters of the Society of St. Margaret in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The most needed items are rice, beans, batteries, children shoes, toiletries, etc.  We also need money to cover the cost of buying and shipping the barrels, which is now $200 per barrel. We are using more expensive plastic barrels because they can be repurposed to collect rainwater. Checks should be written to Church of the Holy Trinity with Haiti Project on the memo line. Donations can be deposited in the barrels in the Narthex.

Don Gregory Stout Memorial Fund.

With the expansion of our Friday Night Supper ministry to include restaurant training and catering services, we have an opportunity to continue the growth of the DGS Memorial Fund as a sustainable funding stream,
ensuring the resources needed to serve guests and provide training into the future. For many years, Don Stout was a regular at the Friday Night Suppers, greeting guests, serving them, making them feel welcome. He further
supported the ministry by being a co-founder of the Annual Silent Auction Wine Tasting Event which continues to raise funds. After Don’s death, friends established the fund to honor his work and commitment.

Please consider making an end-of–year gift to the Don Gregory Stout Memorial Fund. Contributions to the Fund may be made at any time during the year, are fully deductible, and may be in the form of monetary contributions or securities. Donations may be made to The Don Gregory Stout Memorial Fund, c/o Chester County Community Foundation, 28 West Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382. You may also contribute online at
